“Iris” with beeswax

Hello everyone! Today we will show you how to make beeswax toffee. It is quite easy, extremely tasty and interesting. For this we will need the following ingredients:

For section 8 we need:

  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 0.5 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1 cup of dark chocolate
  • sea salt to taste

Method of preparation:

This dish should be prepared on greaseproof paper, and it should be thoroughly greased.

The chaffs of the item are 23-23 cm.

In a large saucepan (the bigger the better, as it will more than triple in size) over medium/high heat, combine the sugar, corn syrup, and water.
Stir the mixture and let it boil. Insert a candy thermometer and continue to heat, without stirring, until the mixture reaches 300˚F (150˚C).

Remove from heat and work quickly…..add the baking soda and whisk in the sugar syrup quickly (no more than five seconds per hundred seconds – to prevent the sugar oil from spilling). The mixture will begin to expand, quickly pour it into the prepared pan and let it set, DO NOT MOVE, for one to two hours.

After the toffee has cooled and removed from the atmosphere, remove the pan and use a blunt object to break it into pieces.

Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl for 75-90 seconds. Be sure to stop and stir after every 30 seconds.
Dip individual pieces into the chocolate and place on a lined baking tray. Finish with a sprinkling of sea salt and place in the fridge to chill for 15 minutes.
