Торт “Наполеон”. Russian Cake Napoleon

Hello everyone… Today we are going to make a Napoleon cake. I remember this recipe from childhood, which is very tasty with its unique softness and beauty.Now we can present you the recipe

Recipe:

Cream:

  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 pack of vanilla (9 g)
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 390 g butter
  • 1 can of condensed milk

Dough:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 glass of lukewarm water – 250 ml
  • 115 g butter
  • 700-750 g of flour
  • Spread 600 g of butter 3 times at 1 hour intervals and put it in the refrigerator

After preparing the dough, let it rest for 1-2 hours, after which we will divide it into 5 balls. Each piece is 240 g. Each layer should be opened 3 times with an interval of 1 hour and you should spread 40 g of softened butter at room temperature over it. After the 3rd time, let the dough rest for another hour, then open it very very thin and wide. You can then transfer the dough onto parchment paper or directly onto the baking sheets that are covered with flour. All the other details you can watch in the video below.

Bake for 7-10 minutes under 400F.
