Biscuit: Taiwanese Castella Cake

Hello everyone! Today we will present to you a very tasty, Taiwanese Castella sponge cake.

Dough:

10 eggs
180 g of flour
180 g of butter
180 g of sugar
200 ml of milk
2 tsp vanilla (liquid)
1 tsp baking powder

Preparation Time:

Sift flour and baking powder into a container. We will pour milk and butter into a separate pot, put it on the gas stove and stir until the butter melts, immediately add it to the sifted flour, quickly stir well, add the egg yolk and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, we will beat the egg whites well, then we will add a pinch of salt, after whisking a little, when it starts to foam well, we will gradually add sugar. We will continue to work until we get a good solid meringue. After that, we will mix the yolk mass with the resulting meringue. Mix well to get a homogeneous mass.

It should be cooked in a preheated oven at 300 F for 1 hour and 10 minutes. The size of our container is 25×25. Place the container in boiling water and put it in a gas oven. You can see the details in the video:
