Puff pastry

We need the following ingredients for an easy and quick puff pastry:

Dough: ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 cups of lukewarm water
  • 1 cup of olive oil (200 ml)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 0.5 tsp of lemon salt
  • 1 kg of flour

We will prepare the dough, divide it into 6 balls, cover it with cling film and let the balls rest for 1 hour. After 1 hour, we will open the balls and put 200 g of softened butter in each ball. Then we will collect it again, shape the dough into a ball, and cover it with cling film to prevent it from drying out. It will be 1-2 hours.

We will open each ball of dough in a rectangular shape, bring the sheet of dough from both sides to the middle part, fold it evenly, then close the sides and fold the dough 4-5 cm from the length. We repeat this process 3 times, after which, when we open it again, we will already put the groove and finally close it.

If we are not going to use the dough right away, you can put it in a food film and put it in the freezer.
