Cake “Truffle”

Hello everyone! Today we will prepare a cake “Truffle” according to the American recipe. I must say that this version is extremely tasty, a cake that melts in the mouth with a very fragile, indescribable chocolate aroma. You will be presented with the recipe.

Cream:

  • 500 ml milk cream
  • 400 g of dark chocolate
  • 3 tsp of cocoa

Pour the hot (but not boiling) milk on the pan, add the chocolate and stir with a rubber spoon until it melts and becomes homogeneous. We will add cocoa, mix it and let it cool down… When it cools down, we will beat the cream with a mixer for another 5 minutes to thicken it. When it thickens well, it is ready.

Dough:

  • 400 g of flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 250 g of sugar, if you like sweet, 300 g
  • 1 tsp of soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 9 g of vanilla
  • 120 ml of vegetable oil or 150 g of softened butter
  • 100 g of cocoa


I used a 22.5 cm round pan, divided the dough into 2 equal parts and poured them into different pans…I preheated the oven to 350 F, the cooking time is 30 minutes.
