Delicious dinner with ground beef and potatoes

Hello everyone. Today we are going to prepare a wonderful dish that is very quick to prepare, which we will prepare with fresh vegetables and ground beef.

Wash all ingredients well and dry. Take 4-5 medium potatoes, cut them into several small pieces and put them in a saucepan to cook. Pour enough water to cover the potatoes. Season with a pinch of salt, and cook for 15-20 minutes.

Take the carrot, celery and onion; cut each into small cubes. Separate the thyme leaves from the stems.

When the potato is ready, mash it with 2 tbsp sour cream and 1tsp thyme leaves, add 50-100 g butter. Season with pepper and salt to taste. Keep warm before serving.

Meanwhile heat up the vegetable oil, add the carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes. Season it with salt and pepper. Add the chopped celery, and onions, cook for 5-7 minutes. Mix in the garlic powder and the chopped thyme leaves, stir for 30 seconds.

Add the ground beef, break it into pieces. Season with salt and pepper, cook for 4-6 minutes or until browned. Stir in the flour and mix until well dissolved.

Then add the crushed tomatoes, water and the beef stock concentrates. Cook until the mixture thickens. Transfer into the serving plate, add the mashed potatoes, cheese and garnish with thyme leaves.

  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 3 cloves of garlic
  • 280 g ground beef
  • 0,5 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 -2 packs of beef stock concentrate
  • 0.5 cups of water
  • vegetable oil
  • 50 g butter
  • 0,5 cup shredded cheese
