Delicious Sponge Cake Recipe with Italian Buttercream

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 g sugar
  • 100 ml heavy whipping cream
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Sour Cream Mixture

  • 450 ml sour cream
  • 100 g of powdered sugar
  • 9-10 g of vanilla (powder)

Italian Buttercream

  • 4 egg whites 
  • 270g sugar 
  • ΒΌ tsp salt
  • 455g unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 80 ml water

Chocolate Glaze

  • 250 ml water
  • 3 gelatin sheets
  • 150g sugar
  • 160 ml heavy whipping cream
  • 220 g chocolate
