Ingredients

- 1/2 cup chilled cold-brew coffee concentrate (or cold, strong black coffee
- 1/2 cup dairy or nondairy milk
- 1 dried pitted Medjool date
- 1 Tbsp. honey or pure maple syrup (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. almond butter or peanut butter
- 2 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder (preferably Dutch-process)
- 1/8 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1 medium banana, peeled, sliced, and frozen
- 1 handful ice cubes
