These tasty Beef Wonton Taco Cups are the perfect appetizer, snack or dinner!  We love them served along side a crispy salad for an easy meal or served up as a quick snack.  Bonus: kids go crazy for them!

We used ground beef in our Taco Cups but you can easily sub ground turkey or ground chicken.

We will be using following ingredients

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 450g  ground beef, turkey or chicken
  • 2 tbsp of taco seasoning
  • 1 tomato: diced
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheese
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced greed onion if desired

You can get the taco seasoning from stores but it is also easy and quick to prepare at home. Simply you just need to mix these ingredients together and that’s it!

  • 3 tablespoon chili powder
  • 3 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Add all of the ingredients to a small jar and stir (or shake) until evenly combined. Use immediately or cover and store for up to 1 year. This recipe approximately gives 9 tablespoons of yield.
