Walnut Cake Queen

Hello everyone! Today we will make a walnut cake Taguhi. This cake has a unique taste harmony. it is soft and crumbly, and the taste is indescribable. You should try it at least once.

Cream:

  • 300 g of chopped walnuts
  • 2 measuring cups of sugar
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 300g of butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp liquid vanilla
  • 3 tbsp of cocoa

Dough;

  • 300 g of butter
  • 0.5 cups of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 – 3.5cups flour

We should get a very soft elastic dough, which we will divide into 5 balls. Let the dough rest for 15 to 30 minutes. We will roll each dough very thinly and after baking, we will divide the layers into 2 equal parts. Preheat the oven to 350 F and bake for 5-7 minutes. I used a rectangular pan, 30 to 40 cm. We can decorate with the dough crumbs. Enjoy!
