Meatballs With Roasted Green Beans & Jasmine Rice

Hi everyone! Today we will prepare a very wonderful dish. We are all familiar with making meatballs, but this recipes is a game-changer can be due to a certain special sauce. Recipe:

  • 2 scallions
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 6 ml ponzu
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 0.5 cup Jasmine Rice
  • 280 g ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 170 g green beans

Before getting started wash all the ingredients and dry them.

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F, then finely chop the green onions (scallions), separate the white and green parts. Peel the ginger, grate it and chop very finely.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, honey, ponzu sriracha to taste. Put aside.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine the rice, a glass of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer over low heat. Cook until the rice is soft, 15-18 minutes. Remove from the heat and add butter, keep closed until ready to serve.
  4. While the rice is cooking, add the beef , bread crumbs, white ends of scallion, ginger, salt and pepper. Form 10-12 meatballs for 2 servings.
  5. Place the meatballs on one side on a lightly greased baking tray. Chop the green beans and place them on an empty side, season with oil, salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the rice into plates. Carefully add the meatballs, before adding toss them well in the sauce bowl, add the green beans next to the rice. Garnish with green onions.
