Two beautiful versions of Ajarakan!

How to prepare yeast and dough.

Yeast:

  • 1.5 t/g of dry yeast
  • 2 tsp of sugar
  • 200 ml of lukewarm water
  • 150 g of flour

Dough:

  • 4 cups of flour
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 30 ml of olive oil

We will prepare the yeast, we will cover it with a food film, it will remain for 30 minutes until it matures and is ready. In the meantime, we will sift the flour in a bowl and add the yeast, salt, and olive oil. Knead the dough, cover it with cling film and let it rest for 3-4 hours. the quick preparation of the dough depends on the room temperature.

Raw material: for 1 cartilaginous

  • 50 g of grated cheese (tsakali is matzalera)
  • 1 sausage
  • 25 g of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and black pepper to taste

For version 2:

  • 1 large tomato for option 2
  • 30 g of butter
  • 25 g of cheese
  • 2 eggs

Preheat the oven to 450 F or 230 C for 10 minutes. It should be cooked for 10 minutes. You can see more details in the video.
