Fried green beans with egg

Hello everyone! Today we will make fried green beans with scrambled eggs. Of course, it is quite easy to prepare and is nothing new. One way or another, there will be newbie girls who spend all their time with books and can devote a short period of time to preparing a light healthy meal.

To prepare the food we need:

  • 1 kg green beans
  • 1 tbsp of salt
  • 5 egg
  • vegetable oil or 50 g of butter

Method of preparation:

We will cut the heads and tails of the green beans, then put them under running water and wash them well and let the water run over them. After that, we will cut it into medium size, put it in a pot, add water. There should be about 2 cups of water, enough to see the water in the pot. When the beans start to cook, or we can say they are already cooked, we will add the salt. Total cooking time is about 40 to 45 minutes. If there is water in the remaining pot, we will strain it with a strainer.

In another pot, we will pour vegetable oil, let it burn a little on gas stove, add cooked beans, which will be fried a little, and add beaten egg. We will close the mouth of the pot and put it on low heat so that a well-sticking omelet is obtained.

I will say a little more.

Green beans are not only a delicious, crunchy, low-calorie food, they also provide many essential nutrients. Young, tender green beans are a good source of vitamin C, dietary fiber, folate, vitamin K, and silicon (which is essential for healthy bones, skin, and hair). Green beans do not contain cholesterol. Although your body needs some cholesterol for healthy cell growth, it’s bad for you. High cholesterol can lead to fatty deposits in your arteries. This can reduce blood flow to your heart and brain and cause a heart attack or stroke.

One cup of raw green beans has 2.7g of fiber. Cooked beans have 4.0 g of fiber. Which can lower the level of bad cholesterol. It can support heart health by lowering blood pressure and reducing inflammation. But beware of canned green beans. Wash well before use or choose the varieties without added salt.
