Hello everyone! Today we will present you a classic, chocolate cake “Mikado”. Let me say that it has a very tasty, sweet and beautiful look. We will prepare the dough first.
Ingredients`
- 4 eggs
- 200 g sugar
- 200 g butter
- 200 g sour cream
- 500 g flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 0,5 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa
Take the eggs, add sugar, sour cream, butter at room temperature, mix well. Pour the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cocoa in a separate bowl. Sift all together. After that we will add all this to the egg batter. Knead the dough well by hand, divide to equal parts/balls, cover with a plastic food wrap, and leave for 2 hours
I divided the dough into 6 balls, and opened each with a diameter of 30 x 30, which turns out to be quite big and beautiful. I heated the oven to 400 F or 200 C, and when baked it under 350 F or 180 C. It only needs to be baked in the oven 5-7 minutes. After that you need to prepare a soaking syrup for each layer.
Cream;
- 25ml water
- 25g brandy
- 0,5 tsp cinnamon
- 0,5 tsp cloves (powdered)
Apply the moisturizer on all the layers first, then add the cream. After soaking, sprinkle cocoa on the last layer, spread the cream on it, and at the end pour a grated chocolate bar on it.
Cream;
- 450g butter
- 2 cans of condensed milk
- 4 tbspcocoa
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp corn starch
Mix the butter well with the condensed milk, add cocoa. In a separate bowl, beat 4 egg yolks, adding powdered sugar, afterwards it is ready to mix the two masses together.
